                           Freedom Struggle Days : Mind-Wandering In Old Bombay (1)   

During my childhood and teen days I specialized in wandering around Bombay city. From watching Senior Division football at Cooperage in the heart of town to watching Lower Division games at St. Xavier's College Ground, Parel. I didn't buy any ticket there. Instead, I stood with other non-ticket-buying soccer fans...on the compound wall of a residential building nearby. In my under-teen days a great deal of sloganeering went on, a part of India's freedom struggle.                                                 Two of my favourite slogans:    Ek Desh Hai Hum!' and 'Hum Sab Saath Hai!'
