Coronavirus: Basic Precautions
1 Avoid meetings and gatherings of people...unless essential.
2 When you're outside home - since you handle door-knobs etc. - don't touch your eyes, nose, lips.
3. If someone is sneezing or coughing, stay away from that person.
4. When you come home, take time to wash hands (and the faucet you touched) thoroughly with soap. Or have a good bath, soaping thoroughly.
5. When things are bought or delivered home, wipe packages with disinfectant wipes; wash hands.
6. Try to make sure children follow the right steps.
According to new studies this virus can survive on stainless steel and plastic surfaces up to 72 hours and on cardboard up to 24 hours.
